Seafood Festival

MMC participated in the 1st Annual Key Largo Stone Crab & Seafood Festival on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st.  The event was a wonderful success drawing in many locals as well as visitors!  We educated the public about the differences between baleen and toothed whales , passed out safe fishing information and business cards to boaters, informed the public of upcoming education classes and held basic demonstrations on what to do and what not to do upon encountering a marine mammal in distress.  The event was a great success and we thank everyone that came out in support!
